Therefore, we have formulated the following refund policy to ensure a fair and transparent process for all parties involved:

  1. Eligibility for Refunds:

    • Refunds apply only to eligible purchases made directly through kristenharper.com.

    • Commissioned artworks are generally non-refundable unless there is a defect or error on the part of the artist or kristenharper.com

  2. Refund Requests:

    • Customers must initiate refund requests within 14 days of receiving the artwork.

    • To request a refund, customers must provide proof of purchase and a detailed explanation for the request.

  3. Valid Reasons for Refunds:

    • The artwork received is materially different from what was ordered.

    • The artwork arrived damaged or with significant defects not attributable to the customer.

    • The artwork does not match the description provided on kristenharper.com.

  4. Refund Process:

    • Upon receipt of a valid refund request, Kristen Harper Art will assess the situation and may require additional information or evidence from the customer.

    • If the refund request is approved, kristenharper.com will initiate the refund process within 5 business days.

    • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.

  5. Non-Refundable Items:

    • Commissioned or custom artworks that have been personalized according to the customer's specifications.

    • Custom framed prints or original art that have been personalized to the customer's specifications.

    • Artwork or prints that have been damaged or altered by the customer after delivery.

    • Artwork or prints that have been lost or damaged due to circumstances beyond kristenharper.com's control (e.g., natural disasters, theft during transit).

  6. Cancellation Policy:

    • Customers may cancel their order within 24 hours of placing it, provided that the artwork has not yet been shipped or produced.

    • Cancellation requests made after this period may not be accommodated, especially for custom-made artworks.
